The inspiration for this installation was G.Kh. Andersen’s fairy tale “Christmas Tree”, where the main character never reconciled herself to aging and kept waiting for the celebration of life.
We are all getting old. But not everyone can accept this fact. This fact is denied not only in the traditions and culture of the Far East, where a woman must always look like a teenager but also in the Western fashion and entertainment industry.
The artist tries to reflect on the meaning of life.
